Greetings,

I wanted to share these stills I captured from today's test shoot riding the F-train. This is my 1st test using the HVX with Redrock M2 adapting a Nikon 20mm lens. All available light and in camera settings, no post fx or coloring. I am no stranger to this community but this is my 1st post, hope you enjoy.

Wow, an no-one hassled you for brining a camera onto the train. - I did this once, I got two MTA Police Officers on me, "Turn it off" - "What are you taking videos/pictures of...." etc...

well yo usee the trouble is in NYC after Guiliani hired 5000 additional cops in th late 90's to clean up NY, now that NY is clean, theres like 50,000 dudes with little to do. so they look to assert themselves to smaller "crimes". I mean i dont blame them, i'd be bored too.

I was stopped while shooting near the verrazano bridge, at first the cops were A--holes, then after they finihsed that routine, then all of a sudden they were really nice and aske what i was shooting for, a movie? Tv? I just gave them a dirty look and packed up and left.

Yeah I have ran into to cops several times in different locations around the city...they try and pull the plug and I used to use the "Student Film" card but I find the cops are pretty nice after all. I have not looked into it yet but I am almost 100% sure shooting on the metro is not allowed. I just keep a low profile (even though the rig is nothing but) and be polite and there should be no problems, hopefully you nailed all your shots before you get shut down.

In Colorado at the moment prepping for a Burning man film for a museum...when I get back I will be doing another F train shoot and be posting soon after.

cheers!
