Oh and IMHO cinemascope ratio really makes your compositions pop more than 16:9 ever does.

How do you achieve the cinescope ratio?

solidsin -- thanks. There'll be more in the next couple of months. Off for a long-needed vacation first. ;)

Brett -- Unfortunately I simply cropped it down. The aesthetic appeal outweighed the loss of rez for me. Am looking into uprezzing footage though -- so we'll see. Oh, and thank you.

++ UPDATE (DEC 04_06) ++

With the help of this teaser, some great guys just signed on for score and sound-design (more later). We're already trying some really cool stuff in that department -- If everything works out of course.

Also, still looking for some talented people to handle some creative web-design ideas i have for the movie. If anyone knows anyone, feel free to contact me.

There's other stuff to, but for now that's it.

oh and i guess it never hurts to ask -- if anyone has any contacts with any agents or producers, I'm trying to get another movie off the ground that I could use some help on. ;)

Thanks for all the support guys!

Wow

This looks amazing dime,I'm definitely going to follow the progress of this film.

I'm about to buy a 100b and am shopping for a tripod. Just wondering what pod you used. The pans in this are so good that whatever you used will be plenty good for me.

Also, what kind of dolly and/or steadicam?

thanks man! Hope this project finds you some financial backing for even more projects!

Thanks man. I can't remember which tripod or dolly I used off the top of my head.
I think the dolly was some glideshot model, but the tripod I'm not sure.

I'm outta the country at the moment, but when I get back I'll make sure to have a look and post the details for you.

Thanks again for the support!

Dime,

You really managed to get the "film" look. I'm really intensely looking into (buying) a DVX. I want it to look like film and to have high quality and any pointers you can give on that would be greatly appreciated.

This is a vast improvement over the original iboy teaser which I have a copy of. 235 rules. When shooting dv you have to use every 'slickening' you can get, and 235 is definitely an asset.

Looks top notch!!!!!!!! Framing and composition are great! Color... wow!

Since everyone is hitting you up for scenefile settings and cc insight, I too will ask something. How did you handle lighting? Any tips?

Thanks man.
