Advice for shooting in dark room with Letus

I'm shooting a scene in a dark bark with a Letus35 FE and Canon FD 28mm f2.8. Not a lot of lighting to use (Arri 650w fresnel, Arri 150, a couple of house lamps). Early set showed the need to use medium (6db) gain, but still looked very grainy. Any ideas? I'm shooting 24pa with detail at +7 and everything else set to 0. Curious, without bringing in a 1K, who do I eliminate the grain/noise?

shoot with the master ped at plus 12, this will give you room in post to adjust the contrast without crushing the blacks. and bring in some more lights.

More lights. Get some china balls, or even the home depot lights, and light up the "non important" area's of the scene with those. Get some reflectors and bounce light all over the place. It's your cheapest alternative to achieve good footage.

Thanks for the help, especially the bit about the master ped. I was at about +10, but that makes sense about post. I realize this should probably be posted in another forum, but with low light, if there is an abundance of grain, is there a NLE filter to ease some of the video noise?
