A Recent Short Film Of Mine

Very nice indeed.Did you use any adapters?
And what kind of lighting did you have?
I love DVX.

I know you had a post a while back of some footage you shot on the HVX. Whcih did you use on this shoot? Compression can be tricky. Can't say for sure which camera this looks more like.

Either way, good looking stuff. There is vignetting in the first shot. Adapter?

whoa, this was creepy.

I'm not sure if this was a standalone piece, a bunch of shots shot to something else but showcased here with a song, or what? But I did think the "straight on" shot looking at people's faces was a little overdone. Could've used some more 3/4 angles, profile angles, low, high, that sort of thing, to mix it up. Was very interesting though.

powerful piece, i'm curious how you got access to the church given the subject matter? They are touchy about the subject up here and that is an understatement.

That's one of my all-time favorite Radiohead songs.

Terrific cinematography, neat idea, and congratulations on getting something like this done! Like previously mentioned, I can imagine it being difficult to gain access to shooting a short like this (unless you're just very sneaky with your words :) )

I shot with the DVX.

Here's the deal. I told the church that I was making a film about Jesus' resurection and they totally bought it!

No, I didn't do that. I lucked out, they didn't ask much about the subject matter of the film, they just wanted their money and played ball from there.
