Junipero: The Last Son of Celestie

that footage looked like 1/48th, but the XL2 footage in the wide shots looked like 1/120th, i dunno why. just looked more crisp. and its that crispness that i love, but whenever i shoot and go 1/120th, it looks too static'y

This looks fantastic! can't wait to see the movie. It kind of reminds me of the game ico on ps2.

i've been on the redrock sight looking at the sd bundle but wondering what would be the benifits and major differences if i went with the hd version.also are you using any post effects to get that nice highligt diffusion os is that being done by the adapter?

If you get the xh-a1, the 55mm should be fine (as you can see). id recommend the hd one for other cameras. nice highlight diffusion is done in post... usually in photoshop or after effects.

Yes I do all the effects myself. Unfortunately, I have a deadline to complete this movie as I'm doing it as a project for school so I don't have much time to do effects on another movie at this moment. I have never used the Letus so I can't give you a comparison with the M2 but I'm sure the differences aren't drastic. Remember, the 35mm adapter is just a tool, like a paintbrush, you're the artist and its up to you to paint awesomeness! I'm sure you can achieve what you are going for with both M2 and Letus.

Meanwhile, since we are in the subject of effects... heres a cool before & after shot. NOTE: Effects are still a work in progress.
