Brevis35 in Florida

Thanks. I couldnt drag my big ass tripod out there with me. I was out there recovering from an operation and just barely got the camera out there.

Aram, let me know on whatever you need. The upgrade is on me :-) Call it a get well present.

Coffee, we're 100% caught up on email, so if you didn't hear from us, pm me here.

Aram, I'll be very interested in your thoughts on the new unit...you guys have contributed to many, many changes to the units :-)

The Brevis' changes are really nice. I love the new mounting of the step up ring its SOOOOOOOO easy to get the unit squared up. I was going to get the new manuals and read them but thought let me try it first and any hoople head could do it. I like that theres a cap on the end for the mount also and would love to see one for the achromat side to protect the protective glass. Its definitely quieter than the beta and I think its a little smaller but that might just be the black colored aluminum making it look that way. I put it on the charger last night and the charger never went to a blinking green, even left it to this morning but it never blinked it just stayed red. Is this new? I will break it in this weekend at my alumni Bball game and post some footage.

Thanks Roman. More will be posted!

No, but I sent it fully charged. Run it for 20 hours or so...then charge for 1.5 hours max! The new units have higher capacity cells and use less power too...so you should have about 23-24 hours run-time. Definitely check out the section on image tuning with the new drive system, although it should be near perfect right now.

The new Nikon mount and rear ring setup have been popular changes with the Rev2 adapters :-)

No worries Aram, it sounds like you're OK, and worst case, the cells are simple to replace. I'm looking forward to your footage.
