Tough job but someone had too, A1 grab inside.

Did a press gig a few weeks back at Tokyo Auto Salon. And just ran into these girls. Camera was moving and theres a fraction motion blur, though I dont suppose that will worry too many with this still.

Autosalon

Hey

I did a TVC for Autosalon in Melbourne a couple of years back...
I think i still have the TVC.
Are they still based in Glebe?SYdney?

Yodi is the name right?

Wanted to add another pic and a more serious post. Refer to pic below of me looking like goofy. Regardless of that as you can see in the pic I have on the cam: Cavision mattebox, redrock 18" rods, cavision pistol grips and shoulder mount. In this pic you cant even see its an A1 because of the angle. Whats my point, this was a serious, paid shoot with a crowd of 100,000 people at any point throughout the day. Thats hard to shoot in. Now I could have shot this with cam alone I guess, but would I have got the shots where the girls play up to the camera? would I have been able to part the crowd to get the car shots I needed to? Not sure, but I seriously doubt it. Camera dressing is just that, but these things do have a functional purpose, the untold one being when your gear looks serious people take it serious.

How's that shoulder mount system from Cavision working for you? I'm debating if I should buy a used HD100 instead of the A1 because it's shoulder mounted.

I mostly do news and documentary work but I'm really new to this.

No camera light?

Nice rig.

ETA, I'm thinking with that rig you could probably wrangle a few of these cuties into acting for your next anime movie....
