Canon XH A1 $3499 at BH

Yeah, I remember seeing it on Amazon for the same price. Then I went to amazon.com yesterday and the price had gone up to $3,516.65. Strange price huh? Anyways, since I saw B&H had it for a tiny bit less, I just went for it.

This is great news. When this camera first came out two months those on another forum and their shill sponsors that were posting to that forum were stating that the price for the camera would trade for list price for a considerable time. Then there was the "group buy" folks who were settling to pay $3550-$3650 noting that $3500 was to low to be had from a quality dealer, even on a volume basis. Well here we are folks. $3500, barely two months after the camera started shipping. I would expect further price reductions as B&H is hardly the discount price leader on video equipment.

Honestly, I'd be shocked if it were sold for under $3499

Read other threads. $3499 with free shipping at several reputable vendors and prices sinking like a rock. ebay pricing now $3400-3500. I wonder what the Brooklyn crowd has dropped their prices down to! How many times since this camera came out has someone popped up and said the price will not go lower only to be shown to be incorrect.
