I just bought a macbook pro to use with my camera and software /Premiere-Final Cut/. I'd like to get a drive which I can use as storage and to do editing with. Is it possible to edit directly to an EXTERNAL DRIVE with efficiency?
What would be some good options?- I've been looking at drives with a 9 pin firewire 800. Lacie has a 640 G for around 349.00:undecided

Suggestions? Things to keep in mind?
