ANOIR - an italian movie (90 min) with DVX100B and 35mm italian adapter

The lighting for you the promo shot is amazing (for only having one light). The slow tracking shot is prob. one of the best I've seen on DVX.

You make zero budget look good man. Can't wait to see some more shots when you are able.

60% without blurring? that's something I haven't been able to do with FCP? what do you use to edit your movie? Everything I have slow moed to less than 80% have become blurry even at 1/50! I am happy you managed such beautiful shots with 1/25 as I see myself using this setting more and more given the loss of light from my Letus35FE. When will you be releasing the movie and if so will it have subtitles?
 
You have an amazing look there, maybe the most filmic I have seen.

CGI scene was pretty good. If you want to make it mor convincing you could make the characters overplap the effects a little more often, it adds to the illusion. Not saying it's bad as it is of course. You should also first add the effects and then do CC. (If you didn't already, somehow it looked like you didn't.)
 
beautiful work Chaosmonger! I really couldn't pick one, I thought they were both great! But what kind of film is Anoir (what a beautiful title as well)? Is it a thriller..a human drama..a character study? The second trailer works well if your movie contains moments of suspense or mystery...the first trailer...wow it felt like Kieslowski..Bergman and your own flair all at once, well done!

this is the look and feel I hope to acheive, as a nubee I had not noticed the grainy look till mentioned above but not too bad except the actress photo, just think there's too much grain about the face and chin
However ,,, this is great stuff, you can taste the mood in these shots

This looks beautiful. What is it about Italians and beautiful films???

I would buy this on DVD if it was released.

I really don't like the music in trailer b. It just doesn't work for me.
It doesn't work with the mood, but still fits the cutting.

When is the movie released?
Do you have any more footage?
Did you film everything with the same camera settings?
The cinematorgraphy is just mozzafiato..hope that's right.
;)
I would also buy this on dvd.
Can I import the Dof-Adapter to germany?
Do you know anything about the company that sells this stuff?
That link doesn't work on my PC, don't know why....
