Mark and Ted's Excellent Adventure in Drama

Perfect! I now have 2 of my dinners covered!!!

I am a bit of a cook myself so, the 3rd dinner will be by me! With you all included, of course. (though, I'll need to use someone's kitchen!)

Thanks for the invite!

Have a safe trip to Japan.

-Ted

Third dinner can be at my house. It will be a collaborative effort. It would be very fun to meet your wife as well. As you know, the summers here are incredible.

Thanks Rebecca! That is so kind. I will be taking you all up on the offer when we get out there!

And yes, the summers there are incredible. I remember them fondly.

If any of you Pacific Northwest folks ever get out to New England, look to me for room and board. I have a spare room and we are just over hour outside of Boston.

Come on by for a visit. (I, too, recommend the summer but the fall is amazing here. Sept-Oct are just glorious.)

Ted or Mark, Have you guys ever though about putting out a feature length? I would love to throw around the idea of taking on a feature length movie with people from this site. I think it would be totally possible with the kind of talent we have brewing here.

Hell yes! Let's talk. I really believe that we have the makings for a great feature with this story!!!

As for linking your banner... I'll PM you with some instructions.

Thanks!

-Ted

Ted, thanks for the compliment... :)

You know, I might be interested in hiring you as a director for a feature that I'm working on putting together. I want to play the lead as well as direct, but I'm not sure that doing both would be wise so I'm going play the role.

I'll PM you the details when I get home from work...

Thanks Tom! I am flattered! I would love to come back to CA and direct for you if you are serious.

Can't wait to hear more about your project!

-Ted

Norm does the BBQ ribs- so you'll have to bug him about that. I do the steak, so I could treat you to that!

LOL, ordinarily, I'd say you would be a little presumptious to think that I'd just automatically cook up "Norm's Famous Ribs" for you (as featured in the SPARROW DVD, available for only $15.99 at www.sparrow-themovie.com), but you know I'd cook 'em up for you in a heart beat.

Love that plug up there?! I think it's the most bold yet, though it's obviously tongue-n-cheek.

Anyway, you've got friends when you come up to visit. Rebecca & I were just talking today about how likeable you are ... of course, I am too via keyboard ... getting to see me in person is a whole other story. :cheesy:

Actually, this is my favorite thread (cuz of you, Mark, and the rest of the cool TTN cast/crew that's been on here) ... just haven't been able to keep up with it since it flies by at at least 5+ pages a day, and we're FINALLY knee deep in our own short, which seemed to hibernate the first 8/10 of the fest.

You guys are shameless! LOL. Hope you all are having a fabulous evening. Don't forget to check out the BTS film on our thread, "Where Silence Falls!" Oops, did I say that out loud?

I've almost forgotten what thread this is....

-Norm, if Mark or Ted head up there, I'm going to hide in their suitcase so I can finally meet you guys.

Hope all is well with WSF!!

Tim.

Hey Norm, Thanks for making an exception for me! (When it comes to RIBS I lose all my manners!)

And yes... nice plug! I went to the SPARROW site (as I have in the past) but couldn't find a way to buy your DVD. Is there a purchase link? I'd support you and your team!

Anyway, I appreciate the kind words here. I know that I will meet you and the other Pacific Northwest dvxusers sometime soon!

Hey Tim, I'll just stuff you in the beer cooler... you'll be right at home! (of course, I'll be arriving with a cooler full of empties but what the heck!)

Tim, it would be awesome if you could make it up here ... you're a swell guy, and I know we'd all have a blast with you included!

Ted, obviously the reference to that other film & DVD purchase was to be over-the-top fecicous, as I don't like to plug my stuff in other people's threads ... even though this thread has become kind of a chat room of sorts, I'd still like to avoid it ... you've got some great stuff in here for TTN.

However, and this is not expecting nor asking you to make a purchase, it should be (I HOPE) pretty clear where a purchase can be made ... it's on the front/main page, and in the upper left corner where it shows the cover of the DVD, it says 'Click here' to purchase. Otherwise, the page is coming across all jacked up on your end for some reason.

Back to the ribs, I've got to admit, they're pretty amazing, but even more so amazingly simple; so that anyone can make them as well if not better ... I say better because ever since we got this new 4-burner BBQ last summer, I'm fighting not to completely burn/torch/cremate the darn things, lol.

He fed us ribs once and they were great.... Hopefully we'll get in on the batch he feeds you, Ted!
