FS-100 Firmware Upgrade?

I absolutely don't mind paying $39 for the new features. But if I were in the market for a new FS100 and I don't need one immediately, then I would wait a couple of weeks.
 
thanks for the reassuring feedback on this unit. Maybe my perception on whole was based on a narrow margin of user experiences. :dankk2:
 
B&H and Adorama are out of stock and they seem to have the best prices at around $1,800.

Anywhere else I can get one for this price or less?

I have 10 on hand with a nice price including shipping to anywhere in the continental US :thumbup:. We also have a couple hi-capacity and standard capacity batteries on hand if you are looking for keeping back-up power on hand.

Considering today is the last day of the year, it looks as though 2006 is going to expire without a V.3 for the FS-100.

But c'mon folks. Matt and Focus are better off with the firmware available, so you know if it were ready, we'd all have it. So we have to wait a little longer. It really is such a useful tool in it's current state.

A few more weeks won't sting that bad. (Well, at least I hope none of you are taking financial hits without it.)

OK, so now 2 weeks later...has the 3.0 firmware watch been upgraded from "very" to something else? Makes me thinks me gonna wait once it's out to see how others fare with it, which is common sense with most any new computer upgrades right?

Is very soon , meaning before Feb 5th or very close after Feb 5th.

The FS-100 Video guide would have some articles in it about some wishware version 3 upgrade to the FS-100.

Or are they waiting for the Cineporter's release.

Sometimes I wonder why the hold up?
Bugs? Nah.
Competition? Nah.

It was announced Sep 15,2006 . So they must of had a product then. If I was programmer I would of already have any bugs resolved by now. But I'm not so it'll remain unreleased.

I quit. Anybody wants my FS-100 . Well I am gonna give up very soon!
 
Where did the Feb 5th date come from? I don't see anything or any date on the Focus web site.

What the heck! Sure hope its soon.
