Normally, rebates list a deadline for buying the product, and a different deadline for actually claiming it. Since I've only seen Dec. 31st listed as a cutoff point, I want to be sure...

Hi,

Start your web access over from the HVX200 product page and it will click you through to the right page. You will see the P2 Card rebate from this starting point.

We had to set things up a little differently from the way it was set up originally as my accounting department needs more documentation on such an expensive item. Which is why some folks have been getting letters from me asking for documentation. So now there is a mail-in part for the P2 cards, register on line, then print the form and mail-in the documents it is asking for. My accounting department is auditing this program, so I apologize to all those that thought it would be just an easy on-line registration. I know that was the way it was set up while I was out during my little tragedy, but once I was back in the office, the accounting office came by and started to have questions and without documentation, I was without the answers they were requiring.

So I apologize folks, it has been a struggle to get this progam working properly and I believe that tomorrow will be the first day it will be working like a a fine swiss watch.

Does this mean that everyone who has registered for the p2 card rebate will be, or should have already, received a request for more information via snail mail?

I have not yet received any such request, so I am curious to know if I should have or I should be expecting

When you go to the rebate checkup page and it says "in processing", will that change when it is in the mail, or stay the same until I receive it?
 
They sent me snail mail requesting the original receipts, which I sent.

Now I'm waiting for the best christmas present I've ever gotten, thanks to Panasonic!!!!!!!!!
 
shhhh i dont know if i still have the original reciept ... awwwwwwwww man ..... after my B&H fiasco i still went ahead and brought .... ANOTHER ..HVX-200 and now this ....
 
I never got any mail requesting the original receipts...

Is EVERYONE supposed to get that request?
 
I didn't either 4am. I think it has to do with the serial number, as discussed in the previous posts.

I'm sure we'll get our stuff.
 
I will dare to say they are generci , I also bought it from Spec-comm . The serial humber is unique but the model is the same except mine says AG-HVX200P and when I called Specc-comm reagrding the P letter and the end because I thought it was PAL they told me not to worry it was ok.
 
Does the online rebate request process (Register online, send dosc by snail mail) satisfy the rebate requirements for both the P2 card AND the book? My camera came with a form to fill out to get the book. Do I need to fill this out & send it in as well?
