Is it possible to go native after importing?

I just got fcp 5.1 and now i can import from my firestore to fcp saving me tons of files space. I was wondering if it i was able to turn a non native batch into 24p native after i already imported previously with fcp 5. I didnt back them up so i only have the quicktime files. It would save me a lot of space!!

If you discard the unused frames, you save space. Just use Cinema Tools, which should detect the correct pulldown and remove the duplicate frames.
