waddup my people I just purchased the dvx100b.... Im currently building my system just wanted some insight on what else to buy.

what is best tripod (but on a budget) whats a good price for one?

im thinking about the rode NTG1 kit at BHPhoto ? what do u think

and what else should i look for im basically filming short films and music video
open to advice

As far as advice; you asked a couple of pretty common questions, I'd recomend running a search using the Search link at the top right of the page. You will get much more and better information that way that would be responded in this thread alone.

I suggest you to go for Rode NTG2 kit. YOu'll never regret the purchase..

i have the ntg 2 based on lots of recommendations from this site. great mic, cheap price. i'm not sure if you have a case, but i would really recommend getting a good pelican. i have the 1510. airline legal, and protects that expensive camera!

check out the audio forum stickies on mic advice.

and definitely take a look at some of the diy articles on building a 35mm adapter. once you see some of the sample footage, you won't be able to live without an adapter.
