Hello, I'm new. From Spain. Don't speak english very well but i try it.
I've got the DVX100B and i want to know if the anti-reflection plate is also a protection for the camera lenses. There's a glass that gets dirty easilly and i want to know if that glass is part of the anti-reflection or is lenses glass. Also want to know what can i do to clean that glass. Thank you everyone and sorry for my english!

It is advised to have a "UV Protection" filter on your camera at ALL TIMES. Most poeple (myself included) buy one with the camera and put it on and never take it off.

This filter is eaiser to clean than your lens. And (more importantly) if it ever gets damaged or scratched, you can replace it with a new one for very little money. - Much cheaper than getting the lens repaired.

Thank you!! usefull information...
but when you buy the camera there is a protection for the lenses? I mean, the cristal I see is a protection or is the lens itself? That glass got little dirty that's whay I'm asking if it is the lens or protection. Have I to be worried? I don't know if the anti-reflection plate is just a piece with a rect hole or it has plastic or cristal that protect the lenses...

Hope you understand my doubts, i need english classes, hehe.
Thank you for your time, guys.

We can understand just fine... it IS the lens glass that you're talking about, and as Mikko stated, get a UV filter and leave it on at all times.

As long as there are no scratches on the glass (lens), and its just a bit dirty, then you should be able to clean it with a "lens cleaner", and then put on a UV filter for protection.
