I think the music we "see" is the same as what we hear. It looks like the guy filmed himself 1 beat at a time then took all those beats and created a song out of them. The audio was probably mixed first then the video clips were added in by simply match framing each clip (and probably some massaging of a video edit here or there).s4manturbo said:am I being a hater if Im not impressed by this?
I am however a prof. paid editor....
and I can tell you how he did it...
The instruments you see him play....arent what are being heard....
He laid down an audio track....took 20 shots of himself and assembled it.
There are tutorials on the FCP board how to do this very easily. Mark points from listening to the song and cutting the slated video to the beat....insert edit..insert edit.
Its impossible to get clean cuts for the instruments with reverb on it....each and every time you make an edit of that speed, it would cut off the sound as well...The soundtrack is a seperate piece, and he edited the pictures to that....
Listen, the soundtrack is perfect....too perfect![]()
So the only talent I see is having a bunch of free time to paste together these cuts.....

that's norway for you. (his name is Lasse Gjertsen and that's where he resides)Capt Quirk said:You have that right!
P.S. After watching a couple more of this guys clips, I have come to the conclusion that it snows a lot where he is, and it must keep him inside for months at a stretch!
