Denied the new 8 gb card from site ,well within my right

So i got my HVX-200 on oct 4 of 06
i got barrys book which is great but when i went to get my 8gb card today the site declined me .
tell me if im wrong i dont need barrys book i actually ordered one before the other rebate (anyone want to buy one ? no jarred im not advertising)
I do hope that this will be worked out because i have 4 other hvx-200's (purchased on the 14th)that i did the same thing for and this would really get me to have to re think my panasonic choices .

Jan i hope you have been able to rest and i hope your husband is feeling better but if you can advise me on this one id appreciate it .its not a matter of missing it by a few days i qualify for the rebate but the site is denying it since i registered all of the cameras in early Oct and the cards would really help .

Why dont you put this in the thread for the Rebate, there are 3 already, and no need to open a new one. You can delete your own thread.
 
Is there any chance you purchased it before Oct. 1st and you didn't get it until Oct 4th?
I hope you get it worked out. Panasonic is usually good about getting things straightened out. They do sometimes take an email or two.

i did take delivery and pay for it on the 4th so no chance if i did i guess id be in the same boat as some others but i got it after the 1st of OCt
 
Did you buy the camera from an authorized dealer? Is it a camera for the US market or a gray-market import?

Try it again. The site's been updated to show the correct 10/1 start date for the card rebate. Others who have already received the book have been successful in applying for the P2 card.

I bought 2 packages over the past mont and just tried to apply and both my serial numbers came up saying improper serial number or serial number has already been used!

Is someone out there ripping off serial numbers?
Is ther some trick to getting my rebate?
I typed in the numbers several different ways, since letters can be confused for other letters or numbers and all were rejected!

the only reason I bought these were because of the rebate! I need my cards :(

please tell me its a glitch and I will get my cards
 
The same thing just happened to me with an HVX that I purchased two days ago. Getting the card WAS the catalyst for me making this purchase. Now what?

SupaDamn! That sucks folks. I hope it gets sorted out. Maybe after they send me my 10 free 8gb cards they will send yours. :) Just playing!

And yes, I bought from EVS in Burbank, who is very popular on this site.

I followed the directions as well :) and bought mine through ProMedia in Memphis (authorized dealer). I've sent inquiries to Panasonic and ProMedia is following up on my behalf as well, so hopefully something gets resolved soon.

Cut him a little slack. But just a little. All of us would be as upset.

Especially when there are issues of possible stolen serial numbers.

Of course don't shoot the messengers.
 
Everyone that has an authorized US product that fits within the guidlines of the promotion will get a card upon registration. There has been a glitch in the system, so just wait until next week.

Some numbers have not passed the automatic checker and it might well be that I am the reason why. This has been a very stressful week for me as my husband has passed away. Getting all of the numbers sorted out has been my job. So somethings have just fallen down around me and this just happens to be one. Please just be patient, I will get it sorted out shortly.

Jan please feel free to ignore us for the forceable future.

It means a ton to us that you would post here addressing this under the circumstances, but please let this nonsense be one of the things that falls through the cracks for the time being.
