So I was looking in my parents closet, and found a DVX100B in its box!!!! W00T!!! I'm so excited!!!! I know it's for me because around July-Aug I started to ask them for a DVX... and they siad... "Maybe for christmas" So... I was thinking I better start learning about this thing... so any good learning threads around here?

I'm jealous. No way my parents would spend that much cash on me for a single holiday. They'd probably laugh at me. Good luck with it though, I love my camera more and more very time I use it, you'll constantly be learning, even as you get better with it.
 
I was looking for videos of side by side comparisons of the different modes.. like proggressive and what not...
 
You're lucky! (And rich too) my parents would never do anything like that for me.

All of us probably had to slog away and work extra hours at the pizza joint for what you have, so treasure it haha.

I definitely grew up in the wrong house and I don't even want to know what you were doing in your parent's closet.

I just emailed your dad and told him to tell Santa that you've been peeking and therefore should have to get a job at Wendys and work for the next 6 months to buy it yourself. No reply as of yet.
