Where will the Camera, lenses, and accessories be manufactured?

Im pretty sure most of it will be Inhouse assembly. I mean, they got everything they need Judging by Jarreds pics of the headquarters. And if the Oakley model is anything to go by, it'l be inhouse.
 
Thanks Ace. Are the powers that be avoiding this question for any particular reason or am I being impatient?
 
a few months ago this was brought up .. i believe RED stated the camera's would be assemble in USA !!

It sounds like China is a bad idea. Why? We assume they do low quality work? Do you think the RED team will let China's infamous poor QC slip by if they did decide to use Chinese manufacturing plants?

How about Ukraine for optics? I think they make pretty decent photographic lenses, especially well known for 16mm film cameras. I have no problem if RED uses that manufacturer to make their lenses. What about you?

Just watch how much a German made matte box costs. Do you think we can realistically make anything in Europe or the US at RED's prices?
