TRAILER FOR "RECOIL," shot with the DVX

Congrats on the movie. Main thing I noticed right off, the audio was inconsistent. I adjusted at the beginning, then it lowered with the first dialouge, upped my volume to have my ears assaulted with louder volume, lowered my volume and the sound went down again. Did not raise volume again, and that was good cause the volume on your trailer hit another volume change UP. Need to get that leveled out IMO. And that girl's scream... distorted.

That's crazy. It sounds fine on this end. I'll look at it again though, just to make sure. Maybe something happened during the compression.

Thanks Cryogenic

Checked it out and still not seeing a problem. It may be in the download to your system, because it instantly plays and sometimes, depending on your system and/or maybe how many windows or other progams you have up and etc., it does different things to the audio and video on the first play.

If anybody else notices the problem, please let me know.

The audio is really distracting, escpiecelly when the girl screams. But overall good. some of the scenes were overlite and highlights were blown out, but still looked through the trailer and loved the edgy violent tone of it. congrats

Looks like 29.97....I as well had to Ride my levels up/down with the audio......Take the project into Soundtrack pro and normailze the audio bro...that'll help a great deal. Also will make your product sound more professional.

too many brothers with guns...

seriously i liked the way you put that together, but i agree the scream is distorted. however i didn't ride the volume. though i will say a couple of lines were kinda low compared to the rest. reason i didn't up/down the volume my system speakers were up pretty loud and i just let it play.

my only tip is that on the gunshots you need to "tweak" them so they match your environment. to me the gunshots sounded flat like they were recorded in a room, but they're outside. try to add some reverb, echo or delay to make it more realistic. as for being in rooms then they would kinda "boom" since the shot is explosive, quick and loud then the reflections off the walls would be fast and so the shot would sound more booming. <---don't know if i should call it booming, but i think you know what i mean.

again outside of that it was edited nicely. my personal opinion just from seeing that i'd like to see more.
