FS-100 download to FCP HELP!!!

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to load the footage I shot yesterday with the HVX using the FS-100. I went into FCP Import --Panasonic P2 and it tries to load and then gives me a warning box that some of the files are corrupt or problematic in some way. I see the thumbnails, I can watch the footage back on the camera but I can't get it into FCP. HELP!! I don't know what to do! Thanks for any advice..greatly greatly appreciated!!

You have to perform the ORGANIZE P2 function on the FS-100 before a P2-aware application can make sense of the data.
 
Already did the Organize P2 function...can see the thumbnails when I am in import Panasonic P2 mode but then it says there is a problem some of the files and it won't let me import. hmmmm.....
 
I've just experienced the very same problem. I own 2 FS-100s . Shot all this morning and now on import, using FCP 5.1.2, Have a single shot that is playable in the import window but will not transfer. It has a Spanned in brackets next to the shot. Tried all the obvious actions such as reboot, new project, etc.

Any advice would be hugh. Thanks a lot.

What version of the firmware are you guys running?
Scroll to the Setup menu.
Third line down should read "V 2.0.1"

FYI, I've noticed that since this latest firmware update, the FS-100 boots much faster! Good job FocusE!
