for your trust. It looks like we closed the book on reservations in excess of 1000. It is truly more than we ever had anticipated. We have begun to adjust our production schedules accordingly. We are working hard on a very difficult project to not let you down.

I consider you the Burt Rutan of filmmaking - and instead of flying us to a new vision above the earth in outer space affordably, you are making many filmmakers dreams come true and their visions that will affect millions of people for generations to come.

I'd hope to see one day a panel discussion with you, Burt and Tom Brokaw discussing revolutionary thinking, vision, and most important action against all the critics and doubters with such grace and courage. You are my heros. Thank you.

Some have compared you to others, but I think your approach stands alone in a cold world of callous business models. You refuse to stop - without compromise - until you meet your goals. You are offering your accomplishments at a price that is a fraction of what you could be asking, and most of all, you're here in the trenches to find out not what sells the most cameras at the best profit margin, but just what it really is that the user wants. I intend to not take these things for granted, and I truly hope that the RED spirit stays alive for a long time to come. I am proud to be a RED supporter, and can't wait to share in your discoveries and make new ones come alive. Thank you, Jim.

I hope completion and production go well for you guys. That's not from an angle of self-interest either. Although I am fully keen to aquire your product and utilise the technology, I realise the significant task you have ahead and wish yourself and the RED team all the best. This is a real favour to myself, and I guess others, who would otherwise have to settle for expensive and ongoing rental of 2k & 4k camera gear. An opportunity to actually own this stuff is a real gift.

Make no mistake... we have our hands full. This is an incredibly difficult project. That's why we like it. We have rounded second and are headed for third.

I just checked my credit card online statement. No $1000 charge posted by Red yet. Still waiting for a confirmation email and the reservation number.
 
Well, at the beginning of the week they were at 800 or so. So they got around 200 reservations in the last two days! No WONDER they're so backlogged on the confirmations.

I'm still waiting myself. If I haven't heard by next week, then I'll start breathing into a paper bag about it.
 
I'm in the same situation but with full confidence. My buyer in California had the email acknowledgement that I will be getting an allocated spot so just waiting for the # and I'll go celebrate.

I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say thanks for having vision, thanks for making this possible and thanks indeed for your amazing efforts to keep us all updated in the whole production process. As a way of saying thanks in return just watch over the next few years as your product starts sweeping the awards at many festivals.

It may also be a personal thing for you to count how many times you will hear:
