So here's the short which I recently showed a few frame grabs of. It's a short story about a future watchmans ordinary routines when he takes his turn in the watch post.

Sorry about the Finnish title and ending credits. I think that it doesn't bother at all because there's no dialogue.

ps. I'm not so sure about my bandwidth limit so tell me if it exceeds.

Very nice, it had a Road Warrior vibe, particularly the antagonist. How long did it take to shoot this...I noticed a continuity issue with the length of the lead's hair... No big problem, though, just nitpicking.

It's all DVX. Yeah that hair thing is quite funny, we shot this in five days but the last two were almost an month ago from the very first day. That was something I couldn't fix in post.

Yeah... looks very HVX to me.

It's good, wither way, though. Sound was excellent, also.

I used a stock dvx100b, tried to shoot very flat images (Master pedestal -2) and then create this worn out look in post. We also had a homebuilt jib and skater dolly.

I think it looked extremely NICE!

But whats the story? I know the setting... but there is not much happening IN the world you just created... so i dont consider this a wonderfull short... just VERY great footage. But maybe iam wrong, but i do think the story itself needs more work.

This is amazing footage for the dvx. I think that there is a story within this short short and id love to see what you guys can create with a full story involved.
