HVX BootCamp DVD Vol. 1 is AVAILABLE!

Thanks for all the excellent reports! Glad it's helping so many of you. David Jimerson did all the editing on it for us. And Jarred's started work on Volume II. NW BootCamp seems to be in limbo; I was working with a dealer to set it up and the last I heard from him was when we were to confirm the dates. And now I'm in India and my ability to interact is quite limited, so -- might have to wait until December... :(

I'm going to walk that chicken this weekend - got my HVX Bootcamp DVD one day after payment. Nice.

Any idea what Volume II will cover?
Well, I guess you'd have more than an idea but can you share it with us yet? :)

Volume I covers the camera itself, Volume II will cover workflow. There will be a bundle deal for both discs, but Volume I buyers who buy Volume I (before Vol. II is released) will receive a discount on Volume II so that they get the same price as the bundle deal. Volume I and Volume II will be each available separately, and there will also be a Vol. 1 & Vol. II bundled offering. But no I can't say exactly when it will be available, we're waiting on a few things to finalize before we can finish it.

I'm still waiting for delivery in the UK(left U.S shores on the 19th). I know that when I ordered the book it had arrived by now. Ah well..

Happy Customer in the UK. Excellent Work Mr.Green.

Leonisa, how long did your DVD's take to arrive, i ordered mine 2 weeks ago and nothing yet, tracking number no good for tracking after leaving USA. Any one else from UK who ordered give me some idea of shipping times??

Just ordered ours. I'd much rather spend $60 and make the most of my camera then save $60 and take a year to get up to speed.

Not trying to make trouble, but you guys should have added another $10-$20 and had a fun night out!
Thanks!

Barry, Any chance of a short trailer or something along the lines of a preview?
Cheers

Indy.... going to China tomorrow!

I just went through my bootcamp even though I have yet to buy my camera.
Let me just say that I wish I had had something like this for the dvx. This
hvx bootcamp rocks! I have a notebook full of notes.

Thanks, Barry. Boy, did I put you on pause a lot. Talk about a ton of info.

Got mine today and watched it all. Funny how you can ALWAYS find something new you didnt know or even clarification on something you thought you knew.
Well done guys. Thanks!!!

Hi Barry, I just ordered mine tonight. I'm still open for a bootcamp here though. Or perhaps a bit of a discount on number 2 considering my role in getting the bootcamps started. :)

Hi There,

I ordered this disc on October 23, and I haven't received it yet. I'm in Toronto, Canada... How long have any other Canadians been waiting for it?

Sometimes things take extra time to go inbetween the u.s. and canada. I have not shipped to or fro personally, but from what I have read, it can take a little while sometimes.

All discs ordered directly from us have been mailed within 24 hours when possible -- obviously, it's not possible on weekends, holidays, etc.. Most have been mailed same-day.

If you ordered by PayPal, you should automatically get a tracking number sent to you. If you didn't, PM me with the e-mail address you used to order.

Canadian orders take *forever*. I don't understand why, but it's just the way it is. I've been shipping DVX Books and HVX Books to Canada, and it seems like it always takes between 12 and 14 days to get there. Makes no sense, as we use Global Priority Mail which claims 3-5 day delivery time. And I can send to Germany in 4 days, so why does Canada (just north of the border) take 14?

I don't know, but it does. I urge Canadian customers to be patient because of it.
