Has anyone burned to BLURAY or HD-DVDR yet? How is that workflow? And what programs can burn to BLURAY/HD-DVD? Im just wondering cuz stuff looks brilliant on my 61" DLP TV. It has a contrast ratio of 10000:1 and I want to try and sell weddings shot on HD for more high-end clientele. How should i present to them how to playback HD on their plasmas? Standalones or Windows Media Center hooked up to a plasma?

We burn red dye HD DVDs with DVD SP4 sans menus and with mpeg2 HD encoding and aiff.

They look like broadcast HD on the first generation Toshiba HD DVD player.

"ur program?" Not a fan of text messaging in professional forums. Be that as it may, we used Compressor's preset for mpeg2 HD encoding, but bumped it back a little to be on the same side.

We export 720/24p timeline out of FCS with current settings, self contained.

Encode video as above to mpeg2 HD and used aiff audio.

Burned with a standard SuperDrive in our Mac.

Delete the menu. Made the track the first play with a jump to itself.

We can get more than 30 minutes on a DVD5.

Sorry my vocabulary is of the instant messaging variety, but I'm glad you were able to decern that ur meant your. So you are saying you are burning HD footage on a regular DVD-R? Because I am wondering if anyone has burned to HD-DVDR yet and how that workflow possibly works.
