Come ON. This is blowing my mind!!! But the real question is: Which is the real one. Is MM the alter ego of theaterguy, or the other way around????

Strong point here, really strong point...

honestly, Ted cannot be MM....its totally absurd....we all thought that it could be one of the mods because you rarely see them around here and they didnt post a movie anyhow...so they could have the time to do awakening...but Ted?? the guy was doing 24/7 to get ID finished.....

I carefully studied the BTS footage MM posted here and found what may be a significant clue. It was subtle and difficult to spot, but if you look carefully:

I don't see anything!:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

God, I am laughing so hard right now!!!! I wish Ted had blown off that frivolous activity he's involved in to be able to respond to some of this!

MovieMaster. I only learned of your existence within the last month. You've already become a legendary member of DVXuser surpassing even John Hudson. Blasphemy, I know.

I have to say your hype machine was only a little more interesting than your movie. Your film was ambitious considering the resources you used. I'm assuming the girls are your sisters and her friend. It almost reminds me of the fact that Robert Rodriguez honed his craft using his family.

The cinemetography including camerawork and lighting was passable. It didn't seem like you were too concerned with it, and concentrated mostly on the story and the scares.

The acting was fun to watch. I thought the girls' behavior was a bit funny. Especially the little sister's "Uh... Yeah!" when asked to play the game.

There were several (intentional/unintentional) comedic moments sprinkled throughout. The tupperware being thrown at the girls, the lion? mask, etc. Sure we had a few laughs and a godo time watching it, but I can't help but consider how much you tried to do with this and all you probably put into it.

I'm curious to know how old you are if you don't mind.

Anyhow, it's clear that your natural inclination is toward comedy (as evidenced by your marketing blitz). I can't wait to see what you do for ComedyFest.

A fun little movie.

Take care.

Just finally getting the time to copy the notes I compiled in a Word doc while watching the shorts:

Some jumpy edits/cuts & poor sound for the most part. My favorite parts of the camera work was when we were roving around them as the one girl swung the necklace around … some nice work there, but other wise pretty beginner stuff & framing made it feel beginner. Some of the masks were too obvious, though the devil one (disturbing as it was) was pretty good. Acting was fairly poor for the most part. Ranked among the lowest in the batch so far.
