I didn't really mean the term "video-like" to be derogatory in any way. For sure, grading could really change the look to make it more "filmic".

The thing I was responding to more was how the highlights of the skintones look a little glassy and then the shadow tones have the slight green cast you see on the HD footage from the Viper and F900 and to a lesser extent the Varicam which to my eye is warmer in its default settings.

I am really looking forward to seeing how the RED performs outside in the middle of the day with some harsh noontime light.

We get to see another 6 months of image tweaks before this thing goes out! I gotta go back to making the remaining $16,500.

Skin color looks very nice. It is funny how the skin has almost too much detail, but the image still has a softness to it.
 
wow that downloaded in less than 2 minutes for me! Anyway the motion looks a little funny, maybe the computer I am on. The DOF is incredibly shallow when she moves her head back after the bubble pops she is out of focus (scary!).
