As some has said the quality of most have gone up.. its great to see the progression of people that have previously entered go up as well.

Thanks to everyone helping the backend out, Brandon for stepping up, Larry, Mikko, Edgen, Joe and Itiva For Hosting. And Hudson for laying down the pipe.

I know we always have kinks and some films got mangeled... its clear now why most film festivals have a 2 month before cutoff for getting films in.. this 3 day turnaround is crazy!!!

but its looking good, and really impressed with more than a couple films out there.
 
Jarred, THANK YOU for putting this thing on, it's always a blast, and it helps a lot of us get out there and do what we talk about all day, MAKE MOVIES! Thanks! :)
 
Thank you for this wonderfull opportunity and if it wasn't for DVXuser fests I would have 4 less shorts under the belt.
 
Without this contest I would not have made my short. So I cant thank you enough. It's the kick up the ass that i needed :-)
 
Seriously this was an amazing way to get undiscovered talent brought to the surface for tons of people to see!

As stated above. Thank you Jarred. This will be a first in a while putting something together to my satisfaction and I owe it all to you and the pressure of staying in the race for this contest. Thanks for that lil piece of excitement. It was fun.
 
Yes, thanks Jarred for putting these on. Heaven knows this is a huge expense to you in time and resources...and it is very much appreciated. They are always fun and it is always interesting to see what people come up with. We have some great talent on these boards, and some have really grown as filmmakers as a result of these fests pushing them to do something bigger and better.

I'm sure I speak for all those helping out when I say, It's a pleasure to do what we can to help with the fest.

Thank you for the opportunity! This has been a fun and challenging experience. The best part of this, is the community of DVX/HVX peers that exchange ideas and help one another.

I really like the friendly competition that helps each of us grow and learn instead of trying to 'beat' the other guy. We're competing with ourselves, and making ourselves better!

Thank you for what you do. This has got to be a huge investment of your time and energy. I hope you get a lot out of it and I'm glad to be a part of it.

These fests are so awesome. Where else can you find an environment that's mutually supportive, where you've got such great motivation and encouragement to get out there and make movies? And you get to have hundreds of your peers actually see your work and be constructive and positive?

Yes, thanks for helping us filmmakers get up off our ass and do something! What I like most is the respect we all have for each other and the CONSTRUCTIVE feedback we have all been receiving for our films.

And a huge thanks to all those that helped you to complete a 3 day turn-around. That really is impressive. I know that we we're all anxious and chomping at the bit, but I certainly never realized the tremendous amount of work that you have to do to post 65 - 6 minute films. Very impressive work, you guys!

This has been a fun ride. I think i'm about a week behind on work though. I really just need to put this 'toy' down and actually focus on other things.
