You want to see something scary?

wow nice work... (heart still thumping...)
great imagery! loved the swinging girl then the dangling girl moving in the same motion... and the string shriek sound. bravo!

I honestly dont think this movie will make that much money here in japan it looks like all the other horror movies and plus its about 5 years too late.every one is jumping on the same wagon and thats why there is soo much bad movies out there... PLEASE STOP THE MADNES

Very impressive! I loved it. The editing, acting, the shots, the footage, the clarity and resolution, the music and sound, I give it 2 thumbs way up. Bravo, this needs to go on a film fest tour. Get this out there!

Just be advised that some might see this as a cliche with scenes and influence from "The Ring". I know, but you got to admit, the long black hair and all, but hey - you actually did what the "Ring 2" could not do.... you scared us!!

Great job!! Which DVX model? Which settings? Where did you shoot? How did you do the hanging effect? Was she a dummy, or was it a special rig?

See ya!

Dude you were somewhat right about the movie being copied in various ways

around the world in countries like India and so forth!!

However, you should know that the other way around are also true...

I am feeling tired of mentioning too many reference... just name you one

" Akira Kurasawa " a legendery director.... just search some info..

I agree...other movies get copied in the U.S as well....

Gosh! It's 12:51AM here.

What a good way to end the night. It's creepy and hellish. That sound effect caught me off gaurd. Can't wait!

dude, where did you get your background music. did you compose it yourself or got the sound clips from another source? How can i get those kind of sounds?

I am wondering the same thing here. Are those from a library or were they recorded for this project?

Hey Blue! Loved the clip, the alternating two rope/one rope.... just the sound of the rope swing alone gave me the creeps, but when she dropped down and that rope slid off the limb so silent...I'm sorry, but you'd have had to bury me where I stood.

I'm not even going to get into the "its been played out" thing, not when everything Hollywood is churning out are remakes and bad sequels.

Great job, Blue! Congrats!

Thanks to all who took the time to watch the clip.
Here are a few specs on the shoot.

Camera used was the DVX100 NTSC original.
75% of the film was shot on the DVX100 PAL. (not wise to mix PAL & NTSC together, can cause a headace.)
Took about 5 hours to film. We used nothing but natural light.

95% of the sound design was from scratch.
Audio program used:

Sound Forge 7
Cubase SX with EastWest Quantum Leap Orchrestra/ Atmoshphere
And Premiere Pro 2.0 for layering and mix down.

audio design tip: You can create some pretty cool ambient/scary sounds just by slowing or stretching certain audio files. That's how I created the ambient sounds for this clip.

Thanks!
Peace!
