Because I wanted to challenge myself to start and finish something within the time constraints and see if I could pull off telling a story in 5-6 minutes. And to see how many people I could get to volunteer and how much stuff I could get loaned to me.
 
I entered because I'm always looking for that next thing to be creative with. Horrorfest was a great opportunity to stretch the brain and come up with a horror movie in under 6 minutes. A lot of people saw it as a restriction, I saw it as another creative opportunity.

Plus, it's another one for the reel.

I'll shoot anything, anytime, anywhere because I freaking love it! We are all fortunate to work in a field that we love.
 
i needed to make another short but also more people will see work here than putting it up on the clips section of the site. so it's opportunity to get feedback.
 
Dave Kitchens & I have been looking for an excuse to get going for a long time now. After working for years doing audio on other people's movies, we wanted to start making our own. We decided to do the Horrorfest, got caught up in other projects, and then made it happen at the 11th hour. And we bit off more than we could chew, but that's a great way to learn, don't you think?

Any suggestions or tips on our film would be greatly appreciated!

I did it cause it is what I live for, and also that hvx looks nice. Almost didn't have time, barely pulled something together.
