Envision & 235 Studios - "R.E.M."

HOLY CRAP! That BTS clip was awesome!

I never considered myself to produce a short that was going to place in the top 3... now I am just hoping that I haven't embarrassed myself with my submission.

Nicely done!

Glad to see you could pull something together!

(And yes... I like the costume choice as well! What a hottie!!!)

Ted

metatDuke, feel free to watch the BTS ... as Ryan stated, it shouldn't really give anything away. Thanks Chris for the compliment on that too.

Jerry (fixitinpost) ... um, let's keep that other pizza pic under wraps for a while, lol!

Ted (TheatreGuy), thanks for the kudos on the clip ... Although I edited it, I think a lot of the credit on that goes to Justin (Edgen), as it was his music that provided much of the emotion/feel & production value behind it.

And I'm confident Rebecca will like the compliment - I mean, what girl doesn't?!

Yeah, that music is great! And I hope that I didn't offend Rebecca by calling her a "hottie." She is beautiful!

Can't wait to see your film!

Regardless of the quality, you got it done, and submitted. That is a lot more then a ton of other people who sit back and never attempt it. Congrats on getting it done. With each project I work on, I learn something new or am chalenged in a different way. I then take that experience and use it to better the next production. So even if your submission is not the greatest, it will make your next submission or project that much better.

I agree with Ryan, and Ted I don't think you've offended anyone with your legit compliment. :) She's really enjoying reading all the feedback & is excited to start watching all of the other films as well ... as we all are, I believe.

Hey Norm, talking about last minute entry, looking forward to your flick. Gongratulations to your wife though for putting up for another DVXUser fetish!

All true, all true.

I am proud that I actually did this. I was just thinking that it was only a month ago that I saw the festival and told myself... "I should do this!"

I am always saying that I want to make films and finally have a camera capable of doing so. I am so glad that I managed to complete this project from start to finish.

And talk about learning from my experiences... I am just itching to get started on a new film!

Thanks for the words!

Yeah, I just tried to help Rebecca out with the picture/avatar thing. Here, you call can vote on which one you think she should use going forward (or I can dig for some different ones):

Steve! How're you doing?! I heard you're doing VFX for Brandon ... can't wait to see it! It was great having you work on SPARROW, and look forward to another opportunity.

Oh, and Weston, thanks for the props on the BTS clip ... I forgot to say thank you before.

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun working on this. I recieved "Sparrow" the other day so I'll watch that in anticipation for R.E.M.

I vote for the current one. My second choice would be #5. Both of these show more of her face while keeping a decent expression, unlike the other ones. (The other ones are fine in context, but out of context do not look as good as the rest.)

I like current one as well... btw: Welcome to DVXuser Rebecca!

Thank you! Norm was a great help in helping me get some pics set up. :) There are a lot of fun shots from the film. I'm just glad there wasn't a dorky one of me eating pizza!

Oh man! That sucks! LOL. I look like death in that pic. What time was that? At least midnight I think!

*snickering* Yeah, I think we had the pizza delivered around midnight. I wouldn't say you looked like death, but the whole full-cheeked-chipmunk thing doesn't suite you best, lol.

BTW, nice one Chris. :)

Oh, and metaDuke, thanks for your order of SPARROW! Hope you enjoy the film!
