awesome idea! i was originally trying to use a smaller 'coupler' piece that i bought (that was actually manufactured as about a quarter inch smaller). needless to say, this didnt work. but i love this idea! im going to try it tomorrow after classes.

I might be able to help you out with an idea for couplers, but are you using between 2- 3 inch PVC for track?
