TED YOU ARE IN MY HEAD MAN!! I was thinking of the same exact thing last night but then I thought about copyright and stuff......but it would definitely be FUN!

YES. Mod backage for Musical Fest. I'm all over it.

I'm so on Musical Horror, you just have no idea.

Comedy is really hard to pull off and to be honest, I'd fail at it and I'm wagering that I wouldn't be the only one.

Spoof Fest sounds like a great idea, as well. I could see a lot of Matrix spoofs coming up and Star Wars, which would make original spoofs all the more liable to win.

But a Musical Horror is all me. If I could stand to make it this time.
 
I can see it now...Barry would get the services of David Hasselhoff and the film would be titled "Climb into My Cop Car" :beer:
 
And Musical almost automatically doubles for comedy.

How many musicals can you watch without laughing at the ridiculous idea of complete strangers congregating in the middle of the street, suddenly singing and dancing on key?
 
Oh come on. Somebody high up give us a hint to the next fest. If, there Is another one....this Is cruel. -_-

I'm fine for Action/Adventure/Comedy, though knowing my luck It would probably be something like WW1 Sci-Fi for saying that.
 
I hope this doesn't take the same turn as the last fest. I get the film submitted, and next thing you know... HeroFest is pushed to the way side... "AND NEXT!!!"

Unfortunately, DVXHerofest is a lost, forgotten soul. I think Movie Master now owns it.

Horror Fest isn't over yet, so we should probably wait to review those first and then think about next fest. It'll be announced sooner than ya know it.

Kholi, I mean this one. I would hope that he announces the next fest *AFTER* the scoring/judging is completed. I'm pretty sure the 'cat was let out of the bag' even before people had a chance to vote for the herofest submissions.

Okay, I just woke from a nap! Believe me, didn't want to be driving but the gear has to get back to storage and I am the guy that get's the job done!

Okay, I am up for Musical Fest. It sounds fresh and original! And damn, that could be some funny stuff!

I do hope that someone sees the Spoof Fest idea (glad that I am not the only one John!!!) and throws it around. Maybe one day it'll catch on. I know that would be a fun fest. (Matrix and Star Wars comments are only scratching the surface of what we may see in the festival!!!)

So, I am going to go back and VOTE MUSICAL! (not that this is an official tally or anything... :) )

Well... my vote put a small dent in that poll! Just saw the results thus far! Looking like people want the AA or Com, huh?

I voted for Drama, but I would also like to see a War theme, or Western...The DVX Brokeback Fest would be sweet...
 
war theme huh??? that'd be great....though it'd be quite expensive to get the guns and stuff....we do however have our uniforms from our service....yeah we do have to do that in Greece....and I have my beret as well ;-)....

so yeah lets do a war fest....I need to show off a bit :P
 
You know, I've thought about War Theme Fest since I posted that and I am having second thoughts. I am sure it may be too depressing. Also, that would be a very selective genre in many ways. And uniforms and such to make it realistic...

I'm going back to my original notion....

SPOOF FEST!!!
