What you don't trust me? There is a rule that states you may not have a website for the film, or have it viewable anywhere other than here until the contest is over... that's pretty clear to me.

Not mine! I've got to use quicktime from P.Pro. (WMV is my friend) AND convert the MPEG2 to NTSC. Don't hold your breath.

It's going to look like a cheap pirate copy viewed through a woolen sock.

Isn't there a way to convert it the Qt file to Mpeg2 uncompressed. Then convert to NSTC with correct compression? I dunno. just an idea. I'm sure if you fiddle around with it or get a file convert program off the net it could look fine.:beer:
 
To get your Quicktime file from Premiere Pro (or almost any NLE):

1. Output Microsoft AVI (compressor: None)
2. Open in Quicktime Pro (compressor: H.264)
3. Export to Quicktime (resize to 400 wide) and you're set.

To get your m2v file:

1. Use Adobe Media Encoder (MPEG 2)
2. Or export as an AVI and import in Adobe Encore and transcode a seperate m2v and AC3 file

I posted an in-depth Quicktime Pro tutorial on how to do that in the sticky! It's a little redundant, but i hope it helps someone.

nope, not till voting ends.. of course you CAN, as long as your cool with being dq'd.
 
Unfortunately my brother and I caught this competition a little late. We've given ourselves just over a week to plan and make something that should have taken alot longer :( however, nothing's impossible :)
 
I already exported my mpeg2 two but it has a separate audio track. Are we supposed to upload a muxed file?
