NTSC DVX, but I have a PAL project - suggestions?

I have a NTSC DVX100, but I'm about to land a deal that will eventually be released for the PAL market.

My assumption is that shooting this at 24P will allow for a cleaner transfer to PAL.

Is this the right idea or should I look to rent a PAL DVX? (this might prove difficult as I plan to shoot pretty "off the beaten path.")

If possible, you should shoot in your format of final release. If you will be relaesing both NTSC and PAL, then it won't matter so much, but if you are distributing in PAL only then using PAL thoughout the process would be best.
