BTW, can you record in Bootcamp to all QT DVCProHD formats without the codec?

Presumably (and I haven't tried this) you can record in QT format from DVC Rack to a FAT32 drive, then plug that FAT32 drive into a Mac and drop the files right on the timeline with no rendering. Or from BootCamp you should be able to do the same thing if you have somehow made a shared volume that both the WinXP and MacOS sides can read.
 
I can also recommend MacDrive as a way to let your Windows partition read Mac-formatted hard drives.
 
I don't see mention on the site regarding PAL support. Any info on that? Will we be able to edit 720/25p on AVID XPRESS PRO now?

Yeah, me too. I bought HDV Rack because of that, and it looks like that announcement says I need to fork an additional $99.00. I don't even have an HDV device!
