My first short from DV workshop in SF

short on time here... could only watch about a 1/4 of it but as soon as im home from work i'll finish it. -- i love the interview lighting for the first indoor setup. awesome!! which workshop did you take?

It was all shot on the spot! I really didn't have a subject until I ran into her, and she was very, very, reluctant to do an interview the next day! I had to really work with her to get her to return the next day for the interview. I really learned a lot about the camera, (which was my most important goal!) and about interviewing difficult people, like her. I have heaps of tape of here; walking and talking, visiting the new "Beat Museum" on Broadway, and other stuff. I agree, it is a little dry, could use some more stuff to make it more interesting, but hey, l know it's not so bad for busting my cherry!

Wow, looks awesome! First shoot and first edit, I am very impressed with all the footages. Maybe we should get together sometime and get some stories shot.

This was the 6 day "Documentary workshop" it was great! Learned a lot. Go to
WWW.DVworkshop.com and check it out. I can't tell you how many pages of notes I have written down on all the stuff we discussed. I think even you "Advanced"
students should take a peak at what Aaron has to teach!
