my movie!!! The Standoff

Some of the lighting was really cool and effective but as mentioned, a lot of the time you just can't see the guy with the girl at all. You should find a better machine gun audio clip and work on an alternative effect for the blast. The flashing white screen took away from the cool work and acting up to the point.
 
Yeap it looks really good, and the acting was pretty tight. However this thing had more F words in 5 minutes than full metal jacket did.

it doesnt appear so dark on the dvd but the compression lost lots of detail so it just got really dark. Yeah i wanted to mix something that combines all my favoirte elements,
film noir, david lynch, french new wave, and like sureal absurdity.
Im not a film student or anything i just wanted to make something i felt.

So thats why there so much cussing i wanted it to be absurd, but like i bleeped out a specific word lol, or the sound of the crow lol and thats why the plot is a little ridiculous. or a lot ridiculous. I didnt want to be afraid to do something abnormal.

i really appreciate all the comments. i really do.

Indipendent and in my case subindipendent movie makers forever lol !!!!!!!!!!

Squeeze footage on a 4x3 sequence - not letterboxed.
 
If you are using Final Cut Pro, export as a Quicktime Conversion and change your video compression setting to 16x9.
