"Sparrow" on DVD - OFFICIAL THREAD - <DVD AVAILABLE>

Awesome, thanks Jack! Look forward to all your thoughts on the film, special features, etc. You'll have to do a little hunting with the remote control, but I've got 4 hidden extras through-out the DVD.

Sorry for the delay, Norm. Life has been chaos lately. Can't wait to see it! Beautiful job on the packaging.

Just got home, and am about to ride the stationary bike (yes, excercise!) and watch Sparrow! The DVD looks HOT NORM!!!! Nice work!
 
I'm glad everyone is liking it- as well as the BTS. Norm did a great job with the DVD design, and Patrick spent a lot of time putting together those BTS features. This has been a fun project to work on- it really pushed Norm and I. I'm glad that we went with the full 23 min. I don't think we would have been pushed as hard if we kept with the 6 min.

  2. Bloopers & Outtakes
  3. Filmmakers' Commentaries
  4. Original Screenplay (depending on size of TV, this could be more or less difficult to read).

Will do, my stack just got crippled a bit with car maintenence stuff, so i gotta put this, Star Fox for the DS, Firecracker DVD, and some other crap i want on hold.

*waits for sparrow on bit torrent* :)

I just got my Sparrow DVD, but Haven't had a chance to sit down and watch it yet. hopefully i'll have a bit of time tomorrow to throw it in. Anxious to watch some of this stuffs....

Did ya do the music edgen? Did mike patton help with it? I love every single thing he is attatched to! Did you get to meet him? If so you will be killed by my jealousy rays that im getting ready to send!
 
Cynic... yup! www.edgen.com/firecracker I came in at the very end of the project and to everyone's 'disbelief'... Mike had nothing to do with the music. I thought he would have contributed something, but apparently they didn't have the budget to license his work. :) Reviews... either you'll hate it, or you'll love it.

Norm.. Dang DVD is acting up. may have to put it in a real DVD player instead of my computer. I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve. :)

WORKED! I think the story makes LOTS more sense now that I've seen the full version. Now.. to get to those special features. :)

Too bad, and that sucks to hear about the licesne thing for his music, he owns Ipecac, so i was hoping , dreaming maybe, of asking for permission for some music in the future possibly for something we shoot, there are some songs on Peeping Tom i would like to use for something, i listen to it and just picture movies and scenes , thats how i enjoy my music most.

make my own music videos in my head most of the time when im on the road.

Hmm, I'll have to test one in my PC to see if there's any issues. I know I optimize them for TV/DVD, but don't know if there would be any crossover issues to PC's. Doubtful, but I'll let you know if I run into an issue on this end.
