Greetings all

I posted a short I made with the DVX a few years ago.

I was made for the "Drew Carey Film Festival". It was a festival that Drew held for members of the Crew when we worked on The Drew Carey Show. It was a lot of fun. He handed out cash prizes for the best films.

Whatever happened to the rule of thirds? I found it annoying that all shots were centered. Your audio levels seemed all over the place too. Other than that..great acting. The pie in the face was funny as hell.

Rules were meant to be broken STYL Z

That was great; well worth my time !

(I swear I've seen that cloawn before on here; in someones banner sig)

That was genius sir. The rythmic clown horn was inspired. The sound FX mix could have used a little beefing up and some of the timing was uncomfortable, but it's been a while since I enjoyed a short film this much.

In the case of narrative filmmaking.. rules are meant to be broken artisticly or for artistic gain, not ignored for every shot. I think the filmmaker here might not even know better. BUT content is still king and this STORY definately was entertaining.

Carry On.

This was pretty good, and thankfully short. It's the kind of idea I think would die very quickly if drawn out too long.

One technical thing, not sure if anyone else had the problem, but the audio was out fo sync for me. I assume that's the flash encoding or whatever. You might want to just check it to make sure.
