Barry's XH G1/XH A1 book?

I have never read Barry's DVX book but I know the DVX and, even though I've never seen the XH G1 and the XH A1 they seem to have very similar image control paterns (from what I've read) to the DVX. Theoreticly couldn't Barry's DVX book be used with these cameras (or with the H1, for that matter). Did anybody try this?

Well some of the bacis settings are similar. But on the A1 I dont think the DVX book as good as it is, would be helpful on all of the functions simply because they are different in approach and the way they are used.

I'm in the process of working on a Canon HD-specific tutorial DVD. When I get a loaner A1/G1 I'll be able to include these cameras and have the product out this fall.

That's my goal anyway and I'm in the preliminary stages currently. There's a lot of info to organize and shoots to plan.

How is the book going, mon frère? If the A1 becomes the hit everybody is thinking it will become you'll be making a lot of dough.

Just working on a DVD.

I'm going to a Canon event in NYC in a little over a week. I'll have pics and a review afterwards at xlcinema.
