has anyone purchased a DVX100B from profeel?

although they arnt authorized dealers their store ratins on reseller are pretty good.. just wondering, so i kno what im getting my self into if i decide to order
 
I've not purchased a DVX-B there, but I bought a DVXA at Profeel a couple of years ago. The product was perfect; had a full US warranty; and service and followthrough was wonderful.
I'd definitely buy from them again.

Personally, I wouldn't buy from an non-authorized dealer.
There just doesn't seem to be much reason for it.

Are they giving you that much of a better deal?
 
Just checked out the site - the camera is 3,159.95 and the cheapest shipping they offer is UPS ground for $70 (seems rather steep for UPS ground).

Total price comes out to roughly $3230.00
(then you get the panasonic mail in rebate).

Not really that much of a difference between going with an authorized dealer, in my opinion.

I am also preparing to purchase the dvx100b and was wondering about Profeel.
I emailed Panasonic about the rebate situation and they said they could not guarantee me that I would get the rebate, if purchased through Profeel. B&H and EVS are only a couple hundred more $$.
 
I bought a DVX100A from profeel and got the rebate and warrenty and everything just fine.
 
i just bought a 100b from profeel last month (Early Aug 06) and it looks like im going to get the rebate. from what i gather from panasonics rebate site. (waiting on check tho)
 
Check out Roscor. Great experience...just picked mine up on Friday. $3299 not including tax/shipping.
 
I bought my DVX from profeel... no problems... smooth transaction... I hate to say it but I raise an eyebrow when somebody signs up on this site and their first post is to say to not buy at this store and instead buy at that store... maybe nothing, but an odd first post none the less.

All things being equal I'd rather buy from an authorized retailer... but I gotta' say that Profeel did me right on my camera.
 
ive been lookin at profeel and buydig.com - anyone have experience buyin from buydig? also how do you find out if somewhere is an authorized dealer?
