HVX/CitiDisk/P2 store in stock

So I guess the question is on Shining's shoulders as to whether Citidisk embeds the frame flags it manufactures the quicktimes it records?

Personally, I wouldn't trust a CitiDisk with work that I pay my house note with.
Just my personal two cents.

From the CitiDISK HD Quick Usage guide:

Q: Does CitiDISK HD support P2-MXF format? What is the native video
file format supported by CitiDISK HD? What is the advantage not
setting to P2-MXF?

A: No, as the time of this usage guide release. However, user can
update the firmware once such function is released. The CitiDISK HD
supports native MOV( Final Cut Pro Quicktime ) & native AVI2( Adobe
Premier 2.0 & Canopus Edius 4.0 ). By choosing the MOV or AVI2 file format saves the “MXF MOV or MXF AVI2” conversion time.

I need a definite answer about AVI2 file format in Citidisk.

Can Citidisk save captured data as AVI2 file? Someone with Citidisk confirm please.

If yes, will the firmware upgrade retain this feature as well as having the option of choosing MXF file or Mov?

Or is it MXF only?

Fs-100 has this feature, but no one have them in stock.

I want it in AVI because of Cineform and Adobe speed bump (mxf>avi conversion). Just need a workaround it , but not willing to buy Edius or a Mac. system.

Over/under cranking is not a mode feature that I need to record for more than 2 4gig P2 worth of storage, which I have. All I need is a long recording session in AVI2.

Thanks

A reassuring answer please.

A reassuring answer please.

I am looking into getting 2 Citidisk only if someone can reassure me of the AVI format.

Sorry for the bump, I really appreciate it.
Thanks guys
