Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know that some of the footage from documentary on Elvis Presley I'm shooting, is going to be featured on Entertainment Tonight this evening and tomorrow.

I'll post more info about the film this evening, we are off to film our press conference right now. In the mean time, check out the front page of the Lifestyle section of USA Today.

Fun stuff....

It looks like tonight, Monday the 14th may just have a teaser mention for the actual story that will air tomorrow, the 15th. I am struggling with getting my 720 footage to work on thier SD Avid Adreniline, and of course I'm in Memphis shooting so I am having to work it out over the phone.

Its been crazy but a ton of fun.

Long time no talk!

I'll check it out tomorrow. Hope you're not smoldering to death in Memphis.

That's us. The producer is offering 3,000,000 to anyone who can prove that Elvis is alive. We had our press conference yesterday announcing the reward, it has exploded since then. Adam, the host of the Doc has been doing radio interviews all morning. It's really taking off.

We had the HVX there to film the press conference and local press showed up sporting the HVX as well, the other press that showed with BetaCams were clammering to know more about the camera and how P2 was working for us. It was great to see the camera working as it should, filming HD for theatrical release right next to another filming DVCPro50 for a news stringer. It was a very cool moment. :)

It turns out the spot is going to be on the Insider, not Entertainment Tonight. You can see the write up on it here: http://insider.tv.yahoo.com/celeb/4520/

As soon as the music rights are clear, I'll post the link to the trailer I cut for the film. It's coming along well.

I'm curious if anyone actually saw the segment. For some strange reason, the show was pulled from broadcast here in Memphis. They ran the news program that was scheduled after "The Insider" twice instead. Interestingly our billboard advertising the reward was also pulled down 24 hours after it was installed. Needless to say there will be some interesting phone calls tomorrow.

Sounds like The King is still pulling some weight down in Memphis, and obviously doesn't want to be found. (c8
