FINALLY- My First Spot on TV!!!!

Congratulations on getting your first TV spot. Must be very exciting.

The google compression kinda kills it, but it looks really good anyways. I'd love to see a better compressed version.

aww jeez what lenses didint i use....

17mm
28mm
55mm
125mm
200mm

The drop itself was shot on 5 cameras. some shots with a cherrypicker...

on the internal scenes, Aram Bauman and i lit it to look like early morning sun. When in reality it was pouring rain, we used about 2K worth of light. 2 1k Openfaced lights, shooting in theough thewindows, and a 300W Fresnel as a bakc light. lots of relfectos, and what not.

IT was tons of fun.

The director, hired the weird guy as announcer. I would have chosen an actor that looked like a middle aged "square" type from the 50's. tweed suit, golf pants, etc. and used the biker guy in the kitchen.

Ha ha, that is awesome!

Timur is the guy to watch, people. He just shot a short for me as well, and his work on that is amazing too.

Timur, why don't you also tell them all about your work on the Big Screen coming up Aug 26th?????

:)

On SAT August 26th at 11PM, Will premiere, MANHOLE: IV. A film I DPed written by MArk Harris ( Desperate comfort). Its playing at Pioneer Theatre East 3rd street, and Ave A. Show up drunk. Hope to see you all there!!!!

Oh cool, looks good. Yeah that was rough in the rain. lucky I had those little deflectors that doubled as rain hats for the lights. I dont know if i would do that again though after watching a documentary on people surviving severe electric shocks.
