My 1st music video to air nationally

when you say air nationally it ususally implies something is put on national television
 
I did say NATIONALLY, and yes I do know what that mean....MTV2, BET and local stations in NYC, NJ and LA. Tell me what you think about the video. It was done at the last minute because JR was mastering his album in the studio and I had to work. MF Doom is big with Cartoon Network and I work there at Adult Swim NetOps....We are gonna try to get it on the Adult Swim hour as well.
 
I liked the simplicity. Very little bling and no posse, refreshingly simple. The track is catchy too. Good work!
 
overall, nice job. You camera work was impressive. The lead pulled it off well, but I got tired of watching him. good beats.
 
LOL the only bling was MF Doom's mask...but thanks for the comment. I like keeping it simple....the next will have a concept. I agree....I don't like posse's either...they are useless. Most of the hip hop artist I deal with are on a positive level.
Someone tell me what you think about the color correction...this was my 1st time actually getting into that kind of adjustment. I really like the final product.
 
Nice very simple... good camera work! Maybe more of a storyline next time.. but I liked it. Was that the dvx100 or 100a? And what did you edit this footage in?

MF Doom is hip hop....bling bling is mainstream rap.

as for the video, its not loading for me for some reason :(. I like MF doom a lot too, especially the work he did with Danger Mouse. Congrats on getting in national, hope you get a lot of airtime.

So you are good friends with MF Doom?
 
nice vibe and flow. Even just a tweenie and some bounce cards would have improved alot of scenes though. Did you have a 35 lens mount?
 
I am shooting with DVX100A with Anamorphic lens. I only edit with Avid Xpress pro but getting composer in a month. Thanks for the comments. If you have trouble viewing the video just update your Quicktime player; it is free.

i enjoyed it alot, would have like to see MF doin a little more than just sittin in the background maybe though, or maybe see him around in the rest of the shots or something, cause he was really only ever in one shot (besides the mask on the mixer), and it felt kinda ackward. (granted that may have been all you were able to get of him)

the shots with the zoom were pretty sweet although the first time it could have been done a little smoother.
 
I like the bridge sequence best . . . not sure about his performance, could have all been stepped up a bit, even camera wise
 
pretty cool but it feels like its missing something. Woulda been cool if ya got Rhett on cam scratchin or what not since there is a lot of that but it was last minute, what can u do.
