Looked pretty good. Good writing, esp at the end of his speech. I think the text is way cheesy though. Maybe experiment with that.

yeah the compression is WMV 9 640 480 i raised the bitrate to 1500kb/sec
and yeah it did turn out sharp....
Thanks rc

i assume you mean actors?
well no "Professional talent" but what we had work well enough to for the story though...never get it perfect eh...
thanks for the comment though

Very nice trailer, very realistic. Emotional too as far as taking care of the family and everything goes. Strong message. Great filming too. Keep at it man.

thanks man

Looks awesome, man. I like your lighting. Sounds like a really great story as well. The speach was really well done.

Wow, this looks really good natdizzle! I almost second the comment about the actors, but like you said, they're not professionals. After taking another look, I think they'll probably do fine in the film.

Your images looked very smooth and clear, with some really nice light work.

Interesting story as well.

Thanks man...
nice to hear a good comment from ya....
Loveed using the Dvx and working with the lights was nice and smooth...
used alot of natural light for the driving, and the shot of the girl on the phone...window natural light.
Resturaunt scen was Natural Light and Artificial light. the amount of color correction i did in post makes it hard to tell the difference...

...Find out friday if we make it in the Fest excited....

Peace nate

Good job on the trailer. The quality looks great, did you magic bullet the footage, some of it looks very soft?

The only thing I really didn't like was the blood dripping down the guy's face. It looked more like pink lemonade, so I'd change that to a darker red. Shouldn't be hard to reshoot a simple cut scene like that.

good job.

Thanks bluewave...
I used a Plug in for Premiere 2.0 called Look Suite...Pretty much magic bullet...For most of the footage i used Bleach Bypass then adjust each clip minorly....the story is partially told in flashbacks...and those scenes i added a bit of White diffusion, also more color correction..the first shot you can see it looks green, this was done in post....i gave each time its own look (past and present.)

the blood...well acually in making the trailer i used clips that werent acually in the movie...that clip is one of them, so i might have got slack and forgot to color corrected that shot.
I used Corn syrup, food coloring and detergent. Great looing blood if you can gget the color right..ha ANd nothing Better then Dumping a Full bowl of STICKY....STICKY blood over your actors haha

thanks for the input

PEace! :)

I thought the content looked good, but the shots were a bit static....not much camera movement.....That portly main actor had some acting chops though.
