Exclusive RED Debut Conference possibility?

I think it would be incredible if there could be an exclusive RED debut event for all of the "believers" who have made reservations for the RED camera.

I know that actual footage is going to be shown in fall. What about having "small" event that would reward early adopters with the privilege of witnessing the first footage from RED?

At the last HVX bootcamp, we were spoiled by HVX200 footage being displayed on a 720p projector. I'll never forget the vipercam-hvx200 comparison footage.

Anyways, just my thoughts.
 
I think it is an awesome idea Now if I just could find $1,000 that didn't have to go tword gear that has already been bought I will try and make it.
 
Is that R really titanium? Titanium is pretty expensive. A female titanium socket block for a Steadicam is about the same size and machining complexity and cost around $1000. Maybe it's just bead blasted aluminum?
 
This would be a great idea if I wasn't so far away in Australia!

I don't know guys.. Something just occurred to me.. If this is going to happen, it will have to happen in less than 4 weeks.. Talk about a rushed gig..

So long as it's not from Aug 19th - 21st, I will be there

Well even if it's after IBC I'd love to attend, afterall, how many of us will really be able to make it out to Amsterdam.
