Who to buy HVX from

Hey guys and gals, i am finally got enough money to buy an hvx, but i was wondering who i should buy the camera from. I.E. should i purchase from panasonic directly, B&H photo, or a sketch online store. Maybe you guys and reccomend a reliable on-line store that can save me some money, i already got ripped off once, so any help would be great. Thanks

I don't know if it was my recommendation, but I got my HVX from Full Compass as well. Specifically, I got it from Shawn Tallard, who was absolutely fantastic -- I couldn't be happier with the deal and treatment I got.

I got mine from Torrey Loomis from Silverado Systems. He matched all compared prices and hooked it up!!! I got the HVX and a Macbookpro package. Definitely recommend going to him if your near the area.

yes, PRISON-A-GO-GO! is out on DVD. you can get it from Best Buy or Amazon. Its also "on-demand" on STARZ.

(it was shot a few years ago, before the DVX/HVX revolution. shot on 35mm with a Arri BL4)

Talk to Mike Hotinski at Abel Cine Tech in Manhattan , competive prices , a knowledgeable staff and a seeming direct line to Panasonic and Firestore, very forthright and honest can not say enough good things about them ..their number in NYC is 212-462-0146. I know that they ship all over the country. Good luck. Love my 200 and FS100,big learning curve for me but the carrot in front of this donkey is the really extrodanry pictures I make ....VL
